I work on distributed fiber-optic sensing (DAS/DSS) at the Reservoir Characterization Project, Colorado School of Mines. My research uses fiber-optic strain and acoustic measurements to monitor hydraulic fractures, evaluate well integrity, and image reservoir properties — most recently, inverting DSS strain data for permeability with adjoint-based optimization on top of MOOSE poro-mechanical models.
I build my analysis workflows into fibeRIS, a Python toolkit for fiber-optic sensing data. This site hosts my research logs and publications.
